Privacy Policy

Instructor Diary is designed so driving instructor data stays under the instructor's control.

Where data is stored

• Learner records, lessons, topics, reminder records, booking requests, and lesson history are stored in Firebase Firestore under the instructor's Google account.
• SOLO DIGITAL LTD does not sell learner data, use learner data for ads, or run hidden customer profiling.
• The app may keep local device cache data to keep the product fast and reliable on the instructor's device.

Google sign-in and Google APIs

• The app uses Google OAuth sign-in. We do not store Google passwords.
• The app may request access to Gmail send and Google Calendar events so the instructor can use email and calendar features.
• The instructor can revoke Google access from their Google account at any time.

Data used by app features

• The app may use learner names, emails, phone numbers, pickup or dropoff addresses, lesson times, notes, topics, reminder choices, and optional location data when those features are used.
• Location is requested only for lesson tracking features and may be used for GPS samples, suburb, distance, weather, and reporting.
• Minimal subscription and activation data may be stored separately for access checking, such as Google email, activation code where used, product, status, trial date, subscription status, and cancellation eligibility date.
